My kindergartener!!!

Josh's first day of school was on
Tuesday. He was so excited!

In front of his classroom door.

They let the parents of the kindergartens go into
the classroom for maybe five minutes. I was hoping
they would let me stay longer (maybe all day). I was waiting
for Josh to start crying when it was time for me to leave. It
turns out that I struggled with it more than he did.
He just said, "Bye, mom! See you later." He was very
casual about it. I on the other hand couldn't sleep the night before.
I thought I was being totally rational at 4 a.m. when I was worrying
about what would happen if their was an earthquake
and the earth opened up I wasn't able to get to him because a huge gap
on the way to his school. Now that I'm totally awake it seems silly.

It's crazy! I can not believe he's old enough to go to school.
I remember not too long ago when I was cuddling him as a newborn.
Where does the time go?
