First day of Joy School

I'm so excited Joy School is in session again.
Caleb's excited that he gets to see his friends
more often. Today we learned more about
each other and about the rules. Then, we read
Are You My Mother? All in all it was a good day.

Snack time which consisted of chocolate teddy bears,
pretzels and apple juice. I didn't have any fruit today.

Our art project was messy and hard for me
to let the kids help. So, I asked them what colors
they wanted. I grated crayons. Then, melted the
crayon shavings with a hot iron. In return, we
got beautiful pictures.:) The point of this project
is that even crayons have to follow the rules.
Wax melts when heat is applied.
