Caleb's 4th birthday cake

After about four hours of decorating this cake for
my train fanatic son, I began asking myself why I
needed to be an over achiever mother. I was
wishing I had just bought a cake from Safeway but
when I saw how happy Caleb was in the morning it
was worth it.

The yellow and green parts of the engine are frosting
covered chocodiles from the Hostess outlet. There
was no way I was going to try and cut them from cake.

I found the animals at the Dollar Tree. They all
came in one box. What a steal!

The first car was Jelly Bellys. The second was
starburst made to look like gifts. The caboose
was zoo animals.

Happy 4th Birthday Caleb! I love you!

P.S. I'm looking forward to making your cake
next month Josh.
