Josh's Shrek cake

Josh is one of the world's biggest Shrek fans.
Right after I made Josh's treasure chest cake (see picture above)
for his pirate party last year he asked me
to make him a Shrek cake for this year. I was a little surprised
that a year latter he still wanted the same cake. I thought
he'd change his mind but he didn't. Way to be decisive
Josh!

So, I looked on the internet for some ideas and this
is what I came up with. The trees are made of
upside down sugar cones with royal icing leaves.
I made the out house out of graham crackers.
My sister, Jen in Arizona works next to the coolest
cake shop I've ever been to and she sent me
candy rocks. I love ya, sista!

Apparently, the "C" on the out house was supposed
to be a crescent shaped moon. David's dad pointed
out to me that in the good old days that's how they did
it. I didn't know that. I guess there's always next time.
