Home depot fire trucks

Home Depot is the best when it comes to "Do it
yourself Kid's workshops." Each first Saturday
of the month from 9-12 they have free wooden art projects
for the kids. Yesterday, they had fire trucks because
October is fire safety month. On November 1st the project
is a leaf press. I want my boys to make one for me. I
think it would be a nice Christmas gift:).

The project took about an hour. David helped
Caleb and I helped Josh. I love crafts but have
never worked with pieces of wood, nails and
hammers before. I got the nails started in the wood.
Then, Josh hammered them in. I was a little out of my
comfort zone. Fortunately, I think Josh's project turned
out pretty good. The coolest part about the project
is that the lights on top are velcroed on and double
as a whistle.
