I spent the early afternoon at the doctor's office.
Apparently, they are not able to take x-rays or
put on casts. So, Caleb and I got sent to the E.R at
Eden. We spent the late afternoon there.
He loved his bed. Especially when they pushed
him down the hall on it because he didn't want to
walk. You would have thought he was driving in a
Lamborghini for the first time.
He also loves stuffed animals. He was in seventh
when one of the volunteers gave him this bear.
It was easier to see the break in the E.R. on their
fancy machines. He broke his left humerus bone
right above his elbow.
The story is (and I wasn't in the room when
it happened) that he tripped over a pillow,
did a flip and landed on his arm the wrong
arm. All I know for sure is it was painful.
I love the cute x-rays. I just wish they
weren't my son's. I thought we'd start our E.R.
visits when they were he was a tad older or maybe never.
I'm just grateful this afternoon is over. On Monday,
once the swelling goes down we have to go
to children's hospital to get a cast. He's got a temporary
splint/sling in the mean time.
Welcome, Sterling

Oh my goodness!! Poor Caleb (although he does look really happy!). How are you doing? I love that you think the xrays are cute:) Too funny! Let me know what I can do to help. Have Josh over Monday while you go to the hospital? Let me know! There goes swimming lessons:(
What a trooper! He's so sweet.
I second what Sarah says... if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm home all day.
